About the Job

MAKE UP FOR EVER is seeking an experienced finance and controlling professional to take on a strategic leadership role supporting its EMEA operations. The position will work closely with senior management to provide financial insight, strengthen performance management, support business transformation and contribute to sustainable growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

• Work closely with the EMEA General Manager to support commercial and strategic decisions through financial analysis, forecasts and actionable recommendations.

• Track business performance against budgets and long-term objectives, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and manage costs effectively.

• Provide financial leadership for business transformation projects and potential new business initiatives.

• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams across the Middle East, Africa and Europe to develop budgets, financial models and business scenarios.

• Assess potential risks and convert financial and operational data into meaningful recommendations for decision-making.

Financial Control and Performance Management

• Maintain a consolidated view of regional performance covering the P&L, balance sheet and cash position.

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities while reviewing assumptions and investigating significant variances.

• Oversee financial controlling activities to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency and compliance.

• Improve controlling processes and promote greater alignment between the MEA and European teams.

• Review cost structures and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising strategic business priorities.

• Support the organization in achieving its growth and profitability objectives.

Executive Reporting

• Lead the preparation of financial reports and business performance reviews, providing senior management with clear insights and recommendations.

• Prepare financial presentations, budgets, business reviews and materials required for executive and board-level meetings.

• Maintain effective communication with headquarters Finance and the Global CFO, sharing regional performance insights and highlighting opportunities for improvement.

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop the Finance Controlling team based across Paris, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

• Promote teamwork, accountability, analytical excellence and a strong business-partner approach within the Finance function.

• Establish effective working relationships across MAKE UP FOR EVER MEA and Europe, Central Finance and PCDO Finance teams.

• Encourage collaboration and transparency across different functions and locations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling or a closely related discipline.

• At least 10 years of successful professional experience in finance and controlling.

• Previous experience in the Middle East and/or cosmetics or luxury industries is highly advantageous.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Fluent English communication skills.

• French and Arabic language skills are an advantage but are not mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of financial statements and financial reporting principles.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is desirable.
