Position Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented and commercially astute Head of Sales to spearhead revenue growth and lead the organization's sales operations. This senior leadership position carries overall responsibility for driving the performance and expansion of both digital and commercial print advertising sales while contributing to the company's broader business objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new revenue opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and maximizing market share. The role also involves leading, coaching, and motivating a team of Account Executives to achieve ambitious sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Sales will work closely with senior management to shape commercial direction, provide market insights, and influence strategic decision-making. The position reports directly to the General Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring the development and retention of long-term, high-value business partnerships.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in business development, revenue generation, client relationship management, and sales team performance management.
Qualifications and Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing business-to-business (B2B) sales goals within a senior sales or commercial leadership role.
Proven experience leading, developing, and managing high-performing sales teams, with a strong ability to mentor, inspire, and drive results.
Strong commercial and financial understanding, including the ability to interpret profit and loss statements, assess profitability, and develop effective pricing strategies.
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement practical solutions independently.
Previous experience within the print, packaging, media, manufacturing, or professional services sectors will be considered an advantage.
Exposure to digital printing technologies or related production environments is desirable, though not mandatory, as technical training will be provided.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or a related discipline.
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
