Key Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Coaching, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Valid Swimming Coaching Certification from a recognized professional body.
Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience coaching swimming, preferably within a school or youth development environment.
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and hold a valid practicing certificate.
Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents across various age groups and skill levels.
Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety/Lifesaving.
Proven ability to organize, train, and prepare students for swimming competitions and inter-school sporting events.
Knowledge of the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum and co-curricular sports development will be an added advantage.
Membership or registration with relevant professional sports or coaching bodies will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for developing young athletes and promoting a culture of excellence in sports.
