Responsibilities
- Oversee and organize the daily tasks of the housekeeping team.
- Give cleaning assignments and plan the work schedule for the staff.
- Check rooms, offices, public spaces, and other areas to ensure they are clean and meet quality standards.
- Train, guide, and assess the performance of housekeeping staff.
- Make sure cleaning tools and supplies are used, stored, and kept in good condition.
- Track the stock of cleaning products and order more when needed.
- Report any maintenance problems, repair needs, or safety concerns to the right department.
- Enforce health, safety, and cleanliness rules at all times.
- Handle cleaning requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of housekeeping activities, staff attendance, and inventory.
- Make sure all staff follow company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Help with hiring and training new housekeeping staff when necessary.
Requirements
- A certificate, diploma, or equivalent in Housekeeping, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory position.
- Experience managing cleaning operations in a hotel, hospital, office, school, or similar setting is a plus.
