Job Responsibilities
Provide technical and administrative support for employee lifecycle processes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and demobilizations.
Process and maintain personnel action forms and employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Ensure employee information is accurate, complete, and updated promptly.
Create, organize, and maintain personnel files in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
Support HR documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping activities.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.
Provide guidance on company procedures, workplace expectations, and conflict resolution processes.
Assist with employee relations investigations by gathering information, documenting findings, maintaining investigation records, and supporting follow-up actions.
Promote a positive workplace culture based on respect, teamwork, and professionalism.
Support workforce planning and organizational staffing activities.
Maintain knowledge of HR policies and communicate requirements clearly to an international workforce.
Schedule and coordinate employee training programmes.
Develop and monitor HR metrics.
Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials for employee programmes and initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
Support the implementation of HR process improvements in coordination with leadership and stakeholders.
Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives assigned by the HR Manager or leadership team.
Perform other job-related duties consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Required Qualifications
Valid passport with at least one year of validity remaining at the time of hiring.
Education
High school diploma or GED is required.
An Associate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience
At least two years of experience in two or more HR functions, such as staffing, performance management, employee relations, benefits, onboarding, compliance, training, or payroll.
At least two years of administrative experience, including document control and recordkeeping.
At least one year of experience working with a multinational workforce from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and changing priorities.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and effectively address employee needs.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
Strong critical thinking, report development, and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and employee data-entry tools.
Proficiency with everyday workplace tools, including email, data retrieval systems, voicemail, and internet or intranet platforms.
Language Skills
Strong English language skills for effective written and verbal communication, employee relations, reporting, and compliance with safety, health, and security procedures.
Other Requirements
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive personnel and company information.
Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with company and government policies governing HR practices.
Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
Ability to meet contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the deployment period.
Ability to obtain and maintain required facility credentials and authorizations.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform contract duties and comply with installation emergency procedures.
Ability to obtain country-specific visas in accordance with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a diverse workforce.
Valid driver's licence.
Country-specific visa where required under the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
SHRM or HRCI certification, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
Previous experience in government or military contracting environments, particularly in HR or employee relations roles.
Strong understanding of labour laws and HR processes across multiple countries or military-regulated environments.
