Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new employees.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other recruitment documentation.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate recruitment reports.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on Human Resource policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
Support conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and grievance management.
Promote employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Coordinate employee performance appraisal processes and ensure timely completion of performance reviews.
Monitor appraisal schedules and follow up on performance improvement action plans.
Support managers in implementing effective performance management initiatives.
Identify employee learning and development needs in collaboration with departmental managers.
Coordinate internal and external training programmes and professional development initiatives.
Maintain training records and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions.
Support payroll administration by maintaining accurate employee information and records.
Administer employee benefits, leave management, medical insurance, and other staff welfare programmes.
Respond to employee inquiries relating to compensation, benefits, and HR-related matters.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional Human Resource certification such as CHRP, SHRM-CP, CIPD, or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
A minimum of two to five years of relevant Human Resource experience, depending on the level of the position.
Good knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, Human Resource policies, and employment best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) will be an added advantage.
