Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the Group Talent Acquisition function by sourcing, attracting, evaluating, and engaging strong candidates across the organization. The role will focus on direct sourcing, talent market research, market mapping, recruitment analytics, and developing talent pipelines to meet both immediate and future hiring needs.
The position requires a commercially focused recruitment professional with experience in recruitment consultancy, executive search, or a fast-paced internal talent acquisition environment. The successful candidate should have strong capabilities in direct sourcing, candidate research, LinkedIn and digital sourcing platforms, market intelligence, and using recruitment data to improve hiring results.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other appropriate sourcing channels.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated recruitment requirements across the Group.
Identify and engage passive candidates, particularly for specialist, technical, management, and other hard-to-fill positions.
Conduct market research and mapping to identify suitable talent within relevant industries and competitor organizations.
Candidate Research & Engagement
Assess and screen candidate profiles against established job requirements.
Conduct initial discussions with candidates to establish their experience, availability, interest, and suitability.
Develop candidate longlists, shortlists, and profiles to facilitate recruitment decisions.
Assist with filling senior and difficult-to-recruit roles through focused research and direct sourcing.
Talent Acquisition Analytics
Maintain accurate recruitment records and monitor key talent acquisition metrics.
Develop recruitment reports and dashboards covering vacancy status, time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, pipeline conversion, and other relevant trends.
Review recruitment data and provide practical recommendations for improving sourcing methods and hiring outcomes.
Stakeholder & Process Support
Collaborate with the Group Talent Acquisition Manager, Business Unit HR teams, and hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and determine suitable sourcing strategies.
Support the coordination of recruitment assignments and ensure candidates and stakeholders receive timely follow-ups.
Recommend improvements to recruitment processes, tools, technology, and the overall candidate experience.
Support the effective utilization of LinkedIn Recruiter, AI tools, and other approved Talent Acquisition platforms.
Requirements
Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate should be proactive, research-oriented, and capable of identifying hard-to-find talent while converting market intelligence into useful recruitment insights.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
Additional certification in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR Analytics, or a related area is an added advantage.
Experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Executive Search, or Recruitment Consulting.
Experience in a recruitment consultancy, executive search firm, or search-focused recruitment environment is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to source candidates directly and identify passive talent.
Experience conducting market mapping, talent research, and candidate identification.
Experience recruiting for specialist, technical, management, or senior-level roles is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other digital sourcing platforms.
Experience preparing recruitment reports and analysing talent acquisition data to generate actionable insights.
Experience working across multiple business units, industries, countries, or geographically distributed teams is an added advantage.
