Position Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to manage employee relations within the Human Resources function. The successful candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with at least five years of relevant HR experience, including a background in employee relations. Registration with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) as a CHRP(K) professional is mandatory. Experience in an academic or comparable institution will be considered an added advantage.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Current membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and CHRP(K) certification.
Demonstrated experience working as an Employee Relations Specialist or in a similar role.
A minimum of five years of professional experience in human resource management.
Previous experience in a university or similar organizational environment is desirable.
Sound understanding of Kenyan employment legislation and labour regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently while effectively managing assigned responsibilities.
Proficiency in the use of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and related software.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
High ethical standards and strong personal integrity.
