Responsibilities
Monitor ICT service performance across enterprise technology environments, including wireless connectivity and remote access services.
Track security-related operational events and identify unusual activities or potential threats, escalating them according to established procedures.
Provide ICT operational assistance during periods of increased demand, major activities, and critical events.
Maintain complete and accurate operational records, including incident registers, monitoring results, and shift handover documentation.
Keep standard operating procedures, runbooks, knowledge articles, and other operational materials current.
Prepare regular and as-needed reports covering service availability, incidents, and overall operational performance.
Identify recurring incidents, service weaknesses, and emerging trends and escalate them for investigation and improvement.
Take part in operational assessments, system testing, emergency drills, and service improvement activities.
Keep up with changes in technology, operational tools, processes, and service delivery approaches relevant to ICT infrastructure and operations.
Assist with the implementation and operational support of new platforms, systems, and initiatives, including automation, cloud-based services, and emerging technologies.
Carry out other duties related to ICT operations as assigned.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
Formal technical training in ICT, networking, systems administration, data centre operations, or a related area is an advantage.
Job-Specific Qualifications
ITIL Foundation certification is mandatory.
A networking certification such as CCNA or an equivalent qualification is required.
Work Experience
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in ICT operations, network support, Network Operations Centre (NOC), service desk, or data centre operations.
Candidates holding a first-level university degree may have the required experience reduced by 2 years.
Demonstrated experience monitoring ICT infrastructure and services, managing incidents, and providing operational support.
Previous exposure to ITIL-based service management environments is an advantage.
Experience working within a 24/7 operational setup is desirable.
Knowledge of enterprise ICT infrastructure, including networking, systems, and data centre environments, is an advantage.
Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and ICT operational support tools is desirable.
Basic understanding of scripting, automation, or system administration is an added advantage.
At least 1 year of experience in data analytics or a related field is desirable.
