Membership Intern
Job Purpose
EPROK is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Membership Intern to assist with membership recruitment, growth, and engagement. The intern will support outreach efforts, identify potential members, assist with member acquisition, and contribute to communication activities designed to increase awareness of EPROK and expand its membership base.
Key Objectives
Assist with attracting and recruiting new members.
Support initiatives aimed at achieving measurable membership growth.
Increase awareness and visibility of EPROK among prospective industry members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research, identify, and map companies within the sector that may be suitable EPROK members.
Take part in outreach and member recruitment activities through telephone calls, emails, and visits to prospective organizations.
Communicate the benefits and value of EPROK membership to potential members.
Follow up on membership prospects and keep accurate records of leads and recruitment activities.
Assist with organizing member engagement sessions, networking events, forums, and related activities.
Help prepare membership information, marketing materials, promotional content, and membership briefs.
Keep membership recruitment databases, tracking systems, and reports current and accurate.
Support the onboarding of new members by assisting with registration and checking that all necessary documentation has been properly completed.
Assist with field activities related to e-waste collection drives and partnership programmes designed to expand collection initiatives.
Undertake any other relevant duties assigned by the EPROK Coordinator from time to time.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Personal Attributes and Skills
Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
Genuine interest in marketing and business development.
Confident communication and persuasive skills.
Professional approach when interacting with prospective members.
Good networking and relationship-building abilities.
Basic knowledge of sales or membership recruitment activities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and focused on achieving targets.
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
Willingness and ability to participate in field visits.
