About the Role
The Product Owner will take responsibility for an assigned ICT product, guiding its development and ongoing operation while working with ICT teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
The role involves translating business needs into clear priorities for Agile delivery teams, overseeing the product lifecycle and ensuring technical decisions remain consistent with relevant architecture and infrastructure standards.
Key Responsibilities
Anticipate business requirements and provide guidance on technologies supporting the assigned product.
Prioritize the product backlog across both development and operational activities.
Translate business requirements into clear priorities for the Agile delivery team, including defining what is required and why.
Monitor the product continuously in line with architecture and infrastructure standards and guidelines.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to Agile delivery practices.
Drive agreed milestones with the Product Line Lead.
Ensure the product meets non-functional requirements covering performance, stability, upgradeability and security.
Oversee resources assigned to the product and manage external resources where applicable.
Use data and performance indicators to support value-based product decisions and reduce assumptions when setting priorities.
Work closely with the Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, business stakeholders, other Product Owners, Scrum Master and Agile Delivery Team.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the wider product line strategy.
Communicate complex technical concepts and challenges clearly to management and other stakeholders.
Work with ICT stakeholders and external partners involved in the integration of ICT products.
Professional Experience
Bachelor's degree in ICT Management, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience managing, integrating and supporting enterprise technology solutions throughout their lifecycle.
Strong understanding of software development, system implementation, deployment and Agile delivery methodologies.
Agile certification is an advantage; training and coaching will be provided.
Experience with Frappe is an advantage.
Good understanding of digital transformation, enterprise architecture and emerging technology trends.
Excellent command of English and/or French.
Additional language skills are an asset.
