Job Summary

The successful candidate will oversee the leadership, coordination, and performance of the organization’s IT operations function. The role involves ensuring that all technology infrastructure and services remain reliable, secure, efficient, and consistently available to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage.

• Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, or equivalent credentials are preferred.

Experience

• A minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in IT Operations, including at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership position.

• Demonstrated experience overseeing large-scale IT infrastructure and technical support environments.

• Strong knowledge of networking, database management, systems administration, and IT service management practices.

• Active membership in a recognized professional body in good standing is required.

Core Competencies

• Knowledge of ITIL governance frameworks and standards.

• Expertise in IT infrastructure management, including virtualization and cloud-based platforms.

• Understanding of disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.

• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.

• Effective leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management abilities.

• Awareness of risk management principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
