Key Competencies

Computer Hardware:
Strong understanding of computer hardware components, their functions, and how they interact with operating systems, applications, and databases. Familiarity with the strengths and limitations of different hardware technologies.

Networking:
Good knowledge of networking principles, communication protocols, system connectivity, and network integration concepts.

Software Development:
Understanding of software engineering principles, development frameworks, industry standards, and commonly used development methodologies.

Operating Systems and Database Management:
Proficiency in installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining operating systems and database platforms. Experience with software deployment, system optimization, performance monitoring, and database administration.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to leverage technical expertise across multiple technologies to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Communication Skills:
Capable of explaining technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Planning and Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain efficiency in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of two years' practical experience in network administration and support.

• Relevant networking or cybersecurity certification such as CCNA, CEH, or an equivalent qualification.

• Hands-on experience in network deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Sound knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security principles.

• Demonstrated expertise in router installation, configuration, performance optimization, and fault resolution.
