Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ITIL, or other equivalent credentials are required.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in ICT, including at least three (3) years in a management-level position, preferably within the SACCO, banking, financial services, or fintech sectors.

• Demonstrated expertise in leading digital transformation programs, implementing cybersecurity strategies, managing enterprise systems, and establishing ICT governance frameworks.

• Proven track record in overseeing core banking applications, digital financial solutions, and technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of ICT regulatory standards, information security best practices, and data privacy and protection requirements.

• Experience in managing technology vendors, service providers, and strategic ICT partnerships, ensuring effective service delivery and value realization.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to align technology initiatives to organizational objectives.
