Job Purpose

Emirates Engineering operates a modern aircraft maintenance facility approved under GCAA CAR V, supporting Emirates’ Airbus and Boeing fleet as well as aircraft operated by numerous third-party airlines.
The Junior GSE Maintenance Assistant will support ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance and aircraft maintenance operations by ensuring the required equipment is available and provided to aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Report any challenges, delays, or obstacles encountered during work to the supervisor or team leader.
Assist with organising and positioning aircraft maintenance support equipment as instructed.
Support the daily inspection of equipment in line with established procedures and guidelines.
Help provide aircraft access equipment whenever required and as directed.
Assist with equipment servicing, maintenance, and repair activities under the guidance of the supervisor or team leader.
Accurately relay customer requests and enquiries to the appropriate supervisor or team leader.
Maintain cleanliness and order within work areas and handle tools and equipment responsibly.
Make sure assigned duties, work schedules, task instructions, and allocations are clearly understood and followed.
Follow safe working practices and request guidance whenever instructions or tasks are unclear.
Provide accurate updates to the supervisor or team leader regarding completed, outstanding, or pending tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this position, candidates should have:
At least 10 years of schooling or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering or a related area.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, general engineering, or maintenance work is preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
