Joint Space is an integrative polyclinic, movement facility, and educational hub located in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai. The organization combines integrative medicine, manual therapies, movement, and recovery services to support clients in progressing from pain and injury toward greater independence, longevity, and physical wellbeing.
The Role
Joint Space is seeking a Junior Nurse to become part of its multidisciplinary clinical team. The position combines hands-on nursing support with administrative responsibilities connected to functional medicine, longevity, and integrative healthcare services.
This opportunity is suited to an early-career nurse who is confident performing phlebotomy, highly organised, dependable, and comfortable working directly with patients while following established clinical procedures. The successful candidate should also demonstrate enthusiasm for developing knowledge and skills in functional and integrative medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Perform blood collection and phlebotomy, including preparing patients, correctly labelling samples, and ensuring specimens are handled appropriately for laboratory testing.
Assist physicians during consultations, clinical procedures, and treatment activities.
Prepare patients for consultations and treatments while recording vital signs and other required observations.
Support IV therapies and other nurse-led treatments under appropriate supervision and within the permitted scope of practice.
Coordinate laboratory investigations, diagnostic testing, treatment appointments, and follow-up visits.
Handle routine clinic administration, including patient communications, forms, referrals, scheduling, and related documentation.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure patient information is updated promptly.
Track outstanding clinical and administrative tasks and follow up as required.
Prepare treatment areas and ensure clinical equipment and supplies are clean, organised, available, and adequately stocked.
Communicate effectively with patients, laboratories, pharmacies, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
Consistently follow infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical procedures.
Build practical knowledge and experience in functional medicine, integrative healthcare, and longevity-focused care.
Requirements
DHA-licensed Registered Nurse.
Strong and confident phlebotomy and blood collection abilities are essential.
Junior and early-career nursing professionals are encouraged to apply; previous functional medicine experience is not mandatory.
Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills.
Comfortable working with electronic medical records, email, and standard clinic software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.
High level of accuracy, dependability, attention to detail, and follow-through.
Ability to follow established protocols and seek appropriate guidance when necessary.
Collaborative and proactive approach, with willingness to contribute to both clinical and administrative activities.
Enthusiasm for learning, accepting feedback, and developing additional clinical competencies.
