About the Role

A specialist financial trading firm in Dubai is seeking a Junior Trader to join its growing trading team. The firm operates across various exchange-traded and over-the-counter (OTC) instruments and is developing a technology-driven trading platform.

This position is suited to an early-career professional with a strong interest in financial markets, analytical thinking, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving trading environment. The successful candidate will receive structured onboarding and have opportunities for performance-based progression and long-term development within the trading desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the trading desk with daily activities, including trade recording, processing, and reconciliation.

• Assist traders with the execution of exchange-traded and OTC transactions.

• Work closely with operations and other support teams on desk-related projects and wider business initiatives.

• Conduct research and market analysis alongside experienced traders.

• Assist in generating and developing potential trading ideas.

• Contribute to internal market updates, commentary, and analytical reports.

• Research and assess opportunities involving new financial products, markets, and trading strategies.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field.

• Recent graduate with up to 1 year of relevant professional experience.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Genuine interest in financial markets and trading.

• Proactive and adaptable approach with resilience and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and performance-focused environment.

• Programming or data analysis experience using Python, R, C++, or similar tools is an advantage but not mandatory.
