Role Summary:
This is an important clinical role that plays a vital part in helping us offer complete primary care to our patients.
We are seeking people who can deliver excellent patient experiences and ensure high-quality lab results.This position is on an as-needed basis.Qualified locum candidates will be contacted when there are available opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and process samples for various lab tests following proper guidelines and procedures.

- Use and keep laboratory equipment in good working order to ensure accurate and efficient testing.

- Take part in quality control processes to maintain the accuracy and speed of lab tests.

- Keep track of lab supplies, place monthly orders, and store items correctly.

- Record and interpret test results accurately in the electronic medical records.

- Create detailed reports that summarize test results and findings.

- Help create a positive and friendly work environment by working well with others.


Key Requirements and Attributes:
- Hold a diploma, higher diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science.

- Be currently registered with the KMLTTB.

- Have at least three years of experience in a busy laboratory setting.

- Possess a valid BLS certificate.

- Be highly skilled in a broad range of lab services, particularly hematology.

- Demonstrate strong patient interaction skills and the ability to work well with team members.
