Job Description

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Wipe the machines to remove any drips or dust.
- Make sure the steam press, finishing cabinet, and ironing table are in good working condition.
If they are not, inform the supervisor, manager, or maintenance team.
- Prioritize your tasks by starting with the most urgent and important ones.
- Check the care label on each garment for ironing instructions.
- Look for any broken buttons, tears, or stains that were missed during the laundry process.
Pay special attention to common stains on collars and cuffs.If found, hand them over to the Seamstress or Spotter/Machine operator.
- Ensure that all garments have a tag with the guest’s name and receipt number or room number.
If not, inform the supervisor.
- Press all guest linens and uniforms.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in laundry is preferred.
- Be attentive and understanding towards guests and customers.
- Fulfill guest requests accurately and promptly.
- Understand and anticipate the needs of guests.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge to improve the guest experience.
- Show a service attitude that goes beyond expectations.
- Take the right steps to resolve guest complaints.

Additional Information:

Physical Requirements (include but are not limited to):

- Standing and walking frequently throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and sitting.
