Applicants should possess:

A diploma or bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized institution.
A minimum of two years of experience managing library services in a school environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify, acquire, and organize learning resources that align with the Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum.
Practical knowledge of library cataloguing, classification systems, and library management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with young learners.
Experience planning and delivering interactive library lessons that promote reading, research, and information literacy.
Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or possession of a valid TSC number will be considered an added advantage.
