Factorhouse Ltd is a credit-only short-term lending company that provides fast, same-day loans to employed customers. The company is seeking Loans Officers to help manage and expand its growing borrower portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a healthy loan book by ensuring effective loan administration, timely collections and compliance with established policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications and process approved facilities for disbursement, ensuring all required documentation is complete and appropriate due diligence has been conducted.

• Provide ongoing customer support by engaging borrowers regularly and developing strong, professional relationships.

• Monitor the assigned loan portfolio and ensure repayments are received when they fall due.

• Compile and present accurate, comprehensive and timely daily, weekly and monthly reports covering collections and portfolio performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business or a related discipline.

• At least four years of relevant experience in microfinance, lending institutions or SACCOs.

• Demonstrated experience in credit management, loan administration or debt management.

• Experience handling a high volume of customer calls while consistently achieving monthly targets.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade customers effectively.

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on achieving set objectives.

• Confident, outgoing personality with the ability to interact professionally with people at different levels.
