Marketing Executive
Job Purpose
The Marketing Executive will support the General Manager and Regional Marketing Director with the daily coordination and implementation of marketing activities for the Serena brand. The role will oversee creative agency coordination, partnership activities, marketing planning and brand execution to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly and consistently.
Based at Serena Beach Resort and Spa in Mombasa, the position will also handle marketing, communication and branding activities targeting both business and individual customers, contributing to the resort’s visibility and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Implement B2B and B2C marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives in line with the Group’s resort marketing strategy.
Build and maintain professional networks to gain insights from B2B partners, identify business opportunities, develop relevant B2B and B2C offerings and support the sales team’s activities.
Work closely with advertising agencies and graphic designers to ensure marketing materials meet the hotel’s quality requirements and comply with established brand guidelines.
Manage relationships with B2C customers and business partners while distributing relevant brand communications through chambers of commerce and corporate associations.
Track competitor activities and developments within the hospitality and marketing sectors to identify potential opportunities for partnerships and brand development.
Drive B2C digital and social media activities across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Collaborate with the Food & Beverage, Rooms and Spa teams to develop and maintain the marketing and content calendar for promotions and related campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience working as a Marketing Executive within an advertising agency.
Previous hospitality marketing experience will be an added advantage.
