Job Summary
The MEAL Intern will support the implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Research, and Learning (MEARL) activities under the Nandi Carbon Project. Working under the guidance of the MEAL Assistant and in close collaboration with the MEARL Coordinator, the intern will assist in monitoring programme quality, verifying field data, supporting accountability activities, and contributing to data management, analysis, documentation, and learning. The role will also support the maintenance of project data systems, ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable information to inform project planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Demography, Population Studies, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognized university.
Ability to conduct literature reviews, secondary research, and data analysis to support programme implementation.
Strong organizational, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to gather information from diverse stakeholders and present findings in clear, concise, and well-structured reports.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while responding effectively to emerging challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
Willingness to adhere to and uphold the organization's Child Safeguarding Policy and related ethical standards.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with different audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant digital tools for data collection, management, and reporting.
