Key Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance on production machines and equipment to prevent breakdowns and fix issues quickly.
Identify mechanical problems and carry out repairs to keep the production line running smoothly.
Maintain tea packing machines, conveyors, bucket elevators, motors, gears, pneumatic systems, and other factory equipment.
Check equipment regularly to ensure it works well and safely.
Write maintenance reports and request spare parts using the ERP system.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental rules.
Keep the workshop and work area tidy and organized.
Help improve processes to make equipment more reliable and plant operations better.
Qualifications
Hold a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a recognized technical trade certification.
Have 2 to 4 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or continuous production setting.
Have strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment.
Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
Have basic computer skills, including MS Office; experience with ERP systems and CAD is a plus.
Show good problem-solving skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
