Job Purpose
The Doctor will serve as a key frontline provider of patient-focused outpatient services. The role is responsible for delivering safe, effective, efficient, and affordable medical care while maintaining a positive patient experience and complying with national healthcare requirements and the organization’s established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care and Medical Excellence
Assess patients, establish diagnoses, and provide appropriate treatment in line with the standards set by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and the organization’s Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs).
Uphold medical ethics, sound clinical governance, and evidence-based practices throughout patient consultations and treatment.
Operational Compliance and Quality Management
Follow all organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and meet established clinical audit and quality standards.
Ensure patient electronic medical records are accurate, complete, current, and handled with strict confidentiality.
Health Promotion and Preventive Healthcare
Take an active role in health education and promotion initiatives.
Promote comprehensive healthcare approaches that help patients manage illnesses effectively and maintain their long-term health.
Patient Experience and Stakeholder Engagement
Engage patients attentively to identify their healthcare needs and provide compassionate support throughout their treatment journey.
Deliver services in a professional and patient-friendly manner while contributing to strong customer satisfaction (CSAT) and net promoter scores.

Qualifications, Experience and Core Competencies
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and possession of a valid current practicing license.
At least two years of active professional experience as a medical doctor, preferably within outpatient or acute care environments.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills based on recognized medical guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and an empathetic approach when dealing with patients.
High level of self-motivation, professionalism, emotional intelligence, integrity, and commitment to delivering quality healthcare.
