Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
At least 1–2 years of relevant clinical practice.
Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Must have a current and valid KMPDC practicing license.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective and high-quality medical care to patients.
Examine patients, establish diagnoses and provide appropriate treatment and ongoing management.
Ensure patient medical records are complete, accurate and regularly updated.
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
Handle medical emergencies promptly and provide appropriate clinical intervention.
Take part in ward rounds and other assigned clinical duties.
Educate patients on health matters and provide appropriate counselling.
Follow hospital policies, established procedures and approved clinical guidelines at all times.
