Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care based on patients' needs and clinical conditions.

• Monitor patients' progress and promptly report any changes in condition to the attending clinician or relevant healthcare provider.

• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions in accordance with prescribed care plans and established clinical protocols.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient records and nursing documentation.

• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, medication adherence, and health promotion practices.

• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies to ensure a safe healthcare environment.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, dignity, and ethical nursing standards at all times.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with organizational policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Perform any other nursing duties assigned by the supervising officer.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) with a valid practicing license.

• At least two (2) years of relevant nursing experience will be an added advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality patient care.
