Role Purpose:
The role is to lead the healthcare services at the hotel, making sure that both guests and staff get timely and professional medical care and first aid.
This includes managing clinical operations, keeping medical supplies and records up to date, and making sure all health, safety, and regulatory standards are followed.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
Provide basic medical services to staff such as general health checks, and offer first aid to guests as needed.
Oversee the buying, controlling, and use of medicines; prepare the clinic budget and track spending on a monthly basis.
Record all instances of staff being absent due to illness and check that the proper procedures are followed for sick leave.
Keep track of the progress of both staff and guests who are unwell or recovering from illness.
Work with doctors treating staff to find the best solutions for both the employee and the employer.
Keep a good supply of essential medical items and make sure first-aid kits are always fully stocked.
Report all accidents to the Group Human Resources Manager for record-keeping and for personal accident claims.
Be part of the Health and Safety Committee to help with audits and ensure that health and safety policies are followed, and organize training for first aid and fire safety personnel.
Plan and organize mandatory health checks for food handlers twice a year, and ensure treatment and any necessary follow-up tests for those with medical conditions.

Food Safety and Hygiene
Incident Investigation and Reporting
Employee Wellness and Health Promotion
Regulatory Compliance ⢠Ability to deliver health education and wellness awareness training
Medical Records Management
Crisis Management Confidentiality and Ethical Practice
Valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
Diploma in Nursing from KMTC or another recognized nursing institution
At least 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting
At least 3 years of direct patient care experience
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and WIBA requirements
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and rotating or on-call shifts, as needed
