Job Summary

The Nurse will support the delivery of quality patient care while promoting the wellbeing of all patients.
Key Responsibilities
Apply sound knowledge of nursing, medical care and counselling standards and procedures in daily practice.
Provide evidence-based general nursing care within an outpatient healthcare setting.
Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in both English and Kiswahili.
Deliver quality healthcare services to all patients while maintaining a strong focus on patient wellbeing.
Demonstrate compassion, integrity and respect when interacting with patients and colleagues.
Pay close attention to details and maintain accurate patient and service records.
Manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining required standards of care.
Maintain a professional, pleasant and service-oriented approach when dealing with patients and the community.
Demonstrate genuine commitment to serving the community and supporting patient welfare.
Use basic computer applications and Health Management Information Systems effectively.
Maintain professional discipline, honesty, responsibility and diligence at all times.
Be available to work extended hours when required, including late evenings, emergency night calls and weekends.
Experience working in a youth-friendly health facility will be an added advantage.
Required Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognised institution.
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and hold a valid practising licence.
Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Certificate in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
At least one year of internship or clinical working experience.
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Health Management Information Systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
