Role Overview
The Digital Sales Person will handle customer sales across WhatsApp, Flowcart, and social media while also reconnecting with previous customers to generate repeat business. The role combines quick responses to incoming inquiries with planned outreach to past clients.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
Manage customer conversations through WhatsApp, Flowcart, and social media platforms.
Respond to calls, messages, comments, and online inquiries promptly.
Follow up on Flowcart broadcasts and customer leads.
Confirm order details in writing before completing a sale.
Handle complaints and price-related concerns, escalating matters where necessary.
Convert online inquiries into confirmed sales.
Ensure online customers receive attention during working hours.
Customer Reactivation
Contact previous customers to introduce available products, promotions, and new stock.
Work through an organized database of past clients, giving priority based on purchase recency and value.
Record the outcome of every outreach interaction.
Service Standards
Personally greet and acknowledge customers.
Provide accurate information on products, prices, and stock availability.
Clearly communicate the next step following each customer interaction.
Record customer inquiries and outcomes across all platforms.
Meet required response and follow-up timelines.
Maintain an organized and properly documented customer outreach pipeline.
Ensure no online customer is left unattended during working hours.
Submit sales figures on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in online sales, retail sales, or customer service.
Experience within retail, fashion, FMCG, or e-commerce is an added advantage.
