Pharmaceutical Technologist
Job Summary
Pearl Hospital is a Level 4 multi-specialty hospital in Laikipia County seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to provide safe, efficient and patient-focused pharmaceutical services. The role involves accurate dispensing of medicines, maintaining medication records and stock levels, supporting patient counselling, and ensuring compliance with professional and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
Requisition medicines and other pharmaceutical commodities as required.
Ensure proper storage of medicines and health-related commodities.
Dispense medicines and other pharmaceutical products accurately.
Promote the economical and responsible use of equipment and supplies.
Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Must have a valid practicing license.
1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Good computer skills, particularly in electronic pharmacy or hospital management systems.
