Supervise the medication dispensing process to ensure pharmaceutical technologists follow safe and accurate dispensing practices.
Identify and address potential medication-related risks by making timely interventions throughout the medication management and use process.
Respond promptly to patient concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up and feedback.
Maintain an efficient pharmacy workflow by monitoring and improving service turnaround times.
Support the implementation of quality assurance policies and monitor departmental performance indicators.
Participate in drug utilization reviews (DURs) and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care through ward rounds.
Manage pharmaceutical inventory effectively, including monitoring and minimizing stock discrepancies.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately, with particular attention to high-alert medicines and adherence to safety standards.
Compile and submit required reports, including medication error reports, pharmaceutical interventions, stock variance reports, and patient satisfaction data within established timelines.
Contribute to antimicrobial stewardship initiatives aimed at promoting the responsible use of antibiotics across the hospital.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on key pharmacy performance indicators to support continuous quality improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Valid registration and a current practicing license issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
At least two years of professional experience in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment.
Competence in using Microsoft Office applications is considered an advantage.
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in chemotherapy preparation and intravenous (IV) admixture services is desirable.
