Minimum Requirements
At least two years of work experience in a busy place.
KCSE with a D+ grade or its equivalent.
Must have a basic certificate or Government Trade Test III in Plumbing.
Must know plumbing codes, materials like PVC, copper, and steel, and the tools used.
Job Responsibilities
Handle urgent plumbing problems quickly.
Check for leaks, do pressure tests, and make sure everything follows the rules.
Find out what is wrong, fix broken parts, and do regular maintenance.
Make sure all work follows local building rules, safety standards, and environmental laws.
Install and connect pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and sanitation systems.
Keep good records of work done, service details, and cost estimates.
Read and use technical drawings to help with installations.
