Key Responsibilities
Loading and Offloading Operations
Coordinate and supervise the loading and unloading of goods.
Confirm that all products loaded correspond with the approved delivery documents.
Ensure products are handled carefully during loading and offloading to minimize the risk of damage.
Maintain accurate loading records and promptly report any discrepancies identified.
Inventory Management
Keep accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
Arrange stock efficiently to optimize storage capacity and improve accessibility.
Ensure stock rotation is carried out using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle.
Investigate and report inventory variances without delay.
Goods Receiving
Receive and inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Verify the quantity and condition of products before accepting deliveries.
Immediately report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
Ensure all received goods are accurately recorded and stored in their designated warehouse locations.
Stock Movement Control
Accurately document all stock transfers, issues, returns, and inventory adjustments.
Track inventory movement between the warehouse and branch locations.
Ensure every stock movement is supported by the appropriate approved documentation.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to stock movements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Inventory accuracy.
Accuracy of stock movements.
Accuracy of goods receiving processes.
Completion of scheduled cycle counts.
Accuracy of self-collect orders.
Compliance with warehouse housekeeping (5S) standards.
Adherence to safety requirements.
Leadership Management Accountability (LMA).
Required Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management practices.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures and industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
CPA qualification.
Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
At least two years of experience in warehouse operations or stock control.
Computer proficiency with experience using inventory management systems.
Demonstrated integrity and exceptional attention to detail.
Requirements
Completion of a video interview.
Successful participation in an aptitude test.
Completion of a job simulation assessment.
