Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution activities for both medical and non-medical supplies. The role ensures that supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant policies and regulations, while supporting the hospital’s mission of providing high-quality, affordable healthcare and training services grounded in Christian principles.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field

• Master’s degree in a related discipline will be an added advantage

• Professional certification such as CIPS, CSCP, or KISM

• Membership in a relevant professional body (CIPS, CSCP, or KISM) in good standing

• A valid practicing license where applicable

• At least eight (8) years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a managerial role, preferably within the healthcare sector

Technical and Behavioral Skills

• Strong understanding of healthcare procurement regulations and donor compliance requirements

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership capabilities

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• High level of integrity and ethical professionalism

• Commitment to Christian values and alignment with the hospital’s mission

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in resource-constrained environments
