Job Purpose:
The Property Officer is in charge of keeping Britam's buildings, offices, and related facilities safe, working properly, clean, and efficient.
This role provides first-line maintenance support, helps with daily facility operations, oversees contractors on-site, addresses maintenance requests within set service standards, and makes sure all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) rules are followed.
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required:
- A diploma or craft certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Plumbing, or a related technical field.
- Multi-skilled certification in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, or building maintenance.
- OSHA or Occupational Health & Safety certification.
- A valid Trade Test Certification.
- At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Relevant professional qualification.
