JOB PURPOSE

Are you passionate about product quality, food safety, and maintaining high manufacturing standards? BRAVA is seeking a professional to join its Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) team and contribute to maintaining the quality and safety of products throughout the manufacturing process.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect incoming dry ingredients and packaging materials to ensure they meet required standards.

• Carry out hygiene inspections and audits while helping prevent cross-contamination.

• Test and analyze raw materials, ingredients, and finished products, and monitor manufacturing processes.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.

• Validate processing lines and maintain proper laboratory hygiene, safety, and waste disposal practices.

• Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, ISO, FSSC, and applicable food safety requirements.

• Monitor customer feedback and contribute to root cause analysis when quality issues arise.

• Support initiatives aimed at improving production processes and product quality.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.

• Knowledge or experience with KEBS Standards, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and FSSC requirements will be an added advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Previous laboratory experience in manufacturing or quality control will be an added advantage.

• Experience in the FMCG industry will also be an added advantage.
