About this role
Key responsibilities
Greet arriving visitors with a friendly, professional manner
Complete check-in and check-out tasks with accuracy and speed
Manage room assignments, provide keys, and update customer details
Address questions, needs, and issues quickly while staying polite
Take walk-in bookings and support guests with reservations
Manage charges, invoices, and cash handling with precision
Reconcile the cash float and compile reports at shift close
Make sure every transaction follows hotel rules and processes
Work with other teams so guest requirements are fulfilled
Answer phone calls, handle emails, and manage messages in a professional way
Keep guest files and booking information correct and up to date.
Create daily reports for arrivals, departures, and current stay guests
Follow privacy, confidentiality, and data security requirements
Take part in handover periods and daily team updates
Requirements
A Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Front Office Operations, or a similar area
At least two years of work as a hotel receptionist or front desk agent
Clear communication and strong people skills.
Proven ability in service delivery and resolving guest concerns.
Comfort with computers, and experience with booking software is a plus.
