Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care
Location: Boulder, Colorado
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend
Pay: $40.00–$54.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift Differential: Additional $3.00 per hour for nights and weekends
Position Overview
Nuclear Care Partners is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing services to patients in their homes. The organization supports individuals whose health has been affected by employment in Department of Energy and nuclear energy programs.
The RN will deliver one-on-one care focused on patient needs, dignity, safety, and positive health outcomes. This position is supported by a nurse-led team that values clinical expertise, independence, teamwork, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional nursing care to assigned patients within their homes.
Provide individualized care based on each patient's condition and established care plan.
Develop, implement, and follow patient-specific nursing plans.
Observe patient conditions and accurately document care, assessments, and changes in health status.
Communicate relevant patient updates to members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to coordinate appropriate patient services.
Ensure nursing practices comply with applicable Department of Labor (DOL), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), state, and organizational requirements.
Promote patient dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life throughout the delivery of care.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable and properly insured personal vehicle.
Previous home health experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.
Successful completion of required pre-employment screening.
Schedule
This is a full-time night position involving 12-hour shifts. Nurses must be available to work every other weekend.
