Job Purpose

Reporting to the Relationship Manager – Business, the Relationship Officer – Biashara Banking is responsible for managing and coordinating assigned micro-business clients to ensure the achievement of the bank’s strategic goals and business objectives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum KCSE mean grade of C+ or equivalent.

• Three to four years of sales experience within the financial services sector.

• Experience in microfinance will be considered an added advantage.

• Background in project management, monitoring, and evaluation is an added advantage.

• Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, and strong problem-solving ability.

• Proven skills in business relationship management and deal closing.

• Ability to interpret, plan, and execute business strategies effectively.

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability in conflict resolution.

• Effective training and coaching capabilities.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
