The Reservations Agent serves as an important point of contact for guests seeking accommodation and is responsible for delivering helpful, professional service throughout the booking process. The role involves handling reservation requests, providing accurate hotel information, and ensuring bookings are completed correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle room reservation requests received through telephone, email, websites, and other available booking channels.

• Provide guests with clear information about room availability, applicable rates, facilities, and hotel services.

• Process reservations accurately and efficiently while minimizing booking errors.

• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests relating to reservations and accommodation.

• Confirm guest details and payment information before finalizing bookings.

• Recommend suitable accommodation and services based on individual guest requirements and preferences.

• Inform guests about applicable promotions, packages, special rates, and discounts.

• Maintain current knowledge of room categories, hotel policies, operating procedures, and reservation guidelines.

• Work closely with the reservations team to maintain accurate room availability and inventory records.

• Support the handling of group bookings and related reservation requirements when necessary.

• Maintain a consistently professional, courteous, and guest-focused approach in all communications.

• Take part in training and development activities to strengthen reservation knowledge and service capabilities.

• Carry out duties in a manner that protects the health and safety of guests and colleagues while supporting environmentally responsible practices.

• Follow all company policies and procedures relating to environmental protection, health, and workplace safety.
