About the Role
Valentori Group is looking for a proactive, organized and results-focused Interior Design Sales and Customer Engagement Officer to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will serve as the key connection between prospective customers and the design and execution teams, overseeing the customer experience from the first inquiry through lead qualification, commercial coordination, project execution and final handover.
The role is ideal for someone who performs well in a fast-paced setting, has strong online sales capabilities and can effectively turn leads and inquiries into paying clients.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Inquiry Management & Initial Response
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, social media and walk-in interactions.
Collect and record essential client information, including project requirements, budget and expected timelines.
Assess incoming leads and guide qualified prospects toward the appropriate next step, such as consultations, site visits or bookings.
Lead Qualification, Follow-Up & Conversion
Evaluate potential clients based on their budget, project scope, urgency and readiness to proceed.
Conduct timely and consistent follow-ups on active leads, quotations and pending decisions.
Address customer concerns and objections, establish confidence and encourage prospects to progress from inquiry to confirmed business.
Client Journey Coordination
Manage the customer process from the initial inquiry through consultation, quotation, payment, project execution and handover.
Organize site visits, design consultations and client alignment meetings.
Provide customers with timely updates on project progress while coordinating internally to support smooth project delivery.
Commercial Coordination, Quotations & Payments
Monitor customer decision-making timelines, present quotations and follow up on approvals.
Follow up on consultation charges, deposits, milestone payments and outstanding final balances.
Confirm payments through the relevant internal channels, update company records and promptly escalate delayed payments to management.
Sales Administration, CRM & Pipeline Management
Keep lead records, customer interactions and sales pipeline stages accurate and current within company trackers or CRM systems.
Monitor sales and conversion performance and prepare organized daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Customer Experience, Retention & Group Support
Provide a high standard of customer service, resolve concerns professionally and conduct post-service follow-ups that encourage referrals and repeat business.
Manage customer inquiries and coordination activities across assigned Valentori Group business units while ensuring consistency with the company brand.
Identify weaknesses in the customer conversion process and propose improvements that can strengthen customer experience and sales performance.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
2–3 years of demonstrated experience in online sales, lead conversion and customer relationship management.
Experience in construction or interior fit-out is an added advantage.
Ability to remain flexible, adaptable and resilient while working in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in WhatsApp Business, social media platforms, CRM or sales tracking systems, and basic spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across different cultures.
Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
