The Sales Officer's main goal is to help grow the business by bringing in new customers, expanding current partnerships, and ensuring that loan applications are fully completed and of high quality.

The Sales Officer serves as the face of Avenews in the field, representing the brand, interacting directly with customers, and carrying out all sales activities on the ground.


Responsibilities
- Identify, connect with, and welcome new customers in their assigned areas.

- Turn potential leads into fully filled and compliant loan applications.

- Build and expand networks with partners such as agro-dealers, distributors, cooperatives, and aggregators.

- Help customers prepare proper documents and decrease mistakes in applications.

- Perform duties as a field ambassador during events, trainings, and market interactions.

- Keep track of and provide regular updates on sales pipeline, conversion rates, and market trends.

- Work together with the operations team to support efforts that lead to loan activation and repeated use.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new customers brought in
- Quality and completeness of submitted applications
- Number of applications driven by partners
- Loan disbursement amounts (new and repeat)
- Rate at which approved customers start using their loans
- Rate of repeat loan usage
- Accuracy and timeliness of reports on sales pipeline and field activities

Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field.

- 1 to 3 years of experience in field sales in fintech, microfinance, FMCG, distribution, or agribusiness.

- Good skills in document handling and engaging with customers.

- Ability to use customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other digital tools.

- Willingness to travel frequently and be out in the field every day.
