Sales Executive
Role Objective
Our client is seeking a mature, commercially focused and highly proactive Sales Executive to drive revenue growth, expand the market, develop new business opportunities and strengthen the organisation’s sales function.
This position is focused on active business development rather than order-taking or telesales. The successful candidate will be expected to identify opportunities, build and maintain relationships, explore new markets, lead sales initiatives and convert prospects into revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of monthly sales targets and consistently drive revenue growth.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within corporate organisations, institutions, estates, hospitality businesses, events and strategic partnerships.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, prospects and key accounts.
Build and manage a well-organised sales pipeline covering lead generation, conversion and repeat business.
Plan and implement market activations and customer acquisition campaigns with defined revenue targets.
Lead, coach and monitor the sales team to ensure individual and collective targets are achieved.
Develop initiatives to re-engage inactive customers and increase repeat purchases and customer spending.
Monitor market developments, competitor activities, customer requirements, pricing and emerging commercial opportunities.
Evaluate sales performance, prepare regular reports and implement corrective measures where performance falls below target.
Work closely with the Founder to turn commercial strategies into practical sales initiatives, partnerships and revenue-generating activities.
Required Specifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline.
3–5 years of progressive experience in sales and business development, preferably including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Proven experience in prospecting, business development, account management and securing new business.
Experience handling corporate, institutional, hospitality, retail or strategic accounts is an added advantage.
Experience supervising, leading or coaching sales teams.
Experience developing and managing sales pipelines and CRM platforms.
Experience organising and implementing market activations or customer acquisition initiatives is an added advantage.
