About the Role
KEO is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join its Dubai, UAE team. The successful candidate will represent the firm in dealings with clients, design consultants, and contractors following contract award.
The role involves reviewing contractor submissions against architectural requirements, project specifications, approved designs, and established procedures. The successful candidate will also oversee reviews of architectural and interior design packages, including drawings, specifications, and other documentation produced by client-appointed design consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to ensure project and program requirements are consistently achieved.
Oversee the delivery of contracted design and construction management services.
Lead and coordinate the preparation, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of project and program schedules covering procurement, planning, design, and construction stages.
Review contractor submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, approved designs, specifications, and applicable architectural procedures.
Evaluate architectural and interior design documentation prepared by project consultants.
Ensure assigned projects comply with KEO policies, procedures, and internal standards.
Apply previous experience in the procurement and delivery of major design-and-build developments.
Provide effective leadership and direction to project teams and demonstrate strong commercial and business awareness.
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor project and program performance to help ensure financial targets and objectives are achieved.
Organize workloads effectively, prioritize critical tasks, and maintain performance when working under demanding deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
At least 12 years of professional experience.
Extensive experience delivering tower projects in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE is essential.
Demonstrated experience in design and construction management for major projects.
Previous involvement in large-scale design-and-build procurement is highly relevant.
Strong leadership, team management, communication, and commercial skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting project deadlines and objectives.
