Shop Assistant – Chuka Branch

Generations Electronics & Allied (GEA) is looking for motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Shop Assistants to join its team at the Chuka Branch.

The successful candidates will support the day-to-day operations of the shop by assisting customers, organizing products, maintaining the shop environment, and supporting sales activities. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys interacting with customers, has good communication skills, and is willing to learn about electronics and related products.

Key Responsibilities

The Shop Assistant will be expected to:

• Welcome customers and provide friendly and professional service.

• Assist customers in identifying products that meet their needs.

• Provide basic information about available products and their features.

• Support the sales team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

• Arrange and display products neatly within the shop.

• Check product availability and assist with stock management.

• Receive and organize incoming products.

• Ensure products are properly labelled and displayed.

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable.

• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.

• Help prepare customer orders for collection or delivery.

• Handle customer questions and direct more complex issues to the appropriate team member.

• Support general shop administration and daily operational activities.

• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
