Flutter Developer

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Flutter Developer to build and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS. The role focuses on developing scalable applications, creating responsive interfaces, integrating backend and third-party services, and maintaining application quality throughout the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

• Develop reusable and scalable interface components from design specifications, wireframes and prototypes.

• Create responsive user experiences across Android and iOS devices.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, backend developers and DevOps teams.

• Connect applications to REST APIs, payment gateways, authentication services, analytics, push notifications and third-party SDKs.

• Use platform-specific APIs and native integrations through Platform Channels where required.

• Follow Flutter development practices when writing clean, reusable and documented code.

• Implement state management using Provider, Bloc/Cubit, Riverpod or GetX.

• Develop modular application structures and reusable widgets.

• Improve application performance, memory consumption and startup times.

• Write unit, widget and integration tests.

• Investigate and resolve bugs, crashes and performance issues.

• Ensure applications work across different devices, screen sizes and operating system versions.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards.

• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and deliver features according to agreed timelines.

• Publish and maintain applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

• Use Git-based development workflows and CI/CD tools.

Technical Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing mobile applications with Flutter and Dart.

• Strong knowledge of Flutter architecture, widget lifecycle, rendering and state management.

• Experience with Provider, Bloc/Cubit, Riverpod or GetX.

• Experience implementing scalable architectures such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.

• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, offline storage including SQLite, Hive and Shared Preferences.

• Experience integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.

• Experience with Firebase services including Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics, Firestore and Remote Config.

• Knowledge of dependency injection and modular application design.

• Familiarity with native Android development using Java/Kotlin or iOS development using Swift/Objective-C is an added advantage.

• Proficiency with Git and platforms such as GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.

• Experience using Android Studio, Visual Studio Code, Xcode and Flutter DevTools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, testing, debugging and performance optimization.

• Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving ability.

• Good communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with secure integration approaches for banking ecosystems, including web API security and token-based authentication.
