PRIMARY PURPOSE
A spa therapist provides therapeutic massages to clients to enhance blood flow, help them relax, and reduce stress, pain, and injuries.
This role is based in Naivasha, Kenya.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeping the spa area clean, safe, and well-organized.

- Preparing spa and workstations and maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the shift.

- Helping to keep towels and linens clean and tidy, and replacing them after each session.

- Sterilizing all massage equipment.

- Walking guests to and from treatment rooms.

- Talking to clients to determine which massage treatments would be suitable for them.

- Delivering the massage treatments listed in the spa brochure.

- Keeping track of records and organizing paperwork.

- Following all relevant standards, rules, and regulations.


CANDIDATE PROFILE
QUALIFICATION
- A diploma or equivalent in a related field from a recognized institution.


EXPERIENCE
- At least two years of experience as a massage therapist.

- Good knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massage techniques.


SKILLS
- Good computer skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong people skills.

- Well-groomed and professional appearance.

- Able to stand for long periods of time.

- Comfortable working with a variety of clients.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both spoken and written.
Knowing a foreign language is an advantage.
