The company is looking for an experienced and performance-focused Supply Chain Officer to oversee procurement, supplier relationships, logistics, inventory and other supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, assess and manage suppliers while ensuring quality standards, dependable service and competitive pricing.
Oversee procurement processes as well as import and export operations, ensuring goods arrive within the required timelines.
Negotiate supplier agreements and regularly assess supplier performance.
Coordinate transportation and logistics to facilitate the efficient movement of products and materials.
Keep supplier contracts, pricing information, inventory details and product records accurate and up to date.
Track procurement savings, review supply chain data and produce reports for management.
Ensure all procurement activities follow established policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
Maintain productive relationships with suppliers and seek ways to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in a supply chain or procurement position.
Experience in a fast-moving ICT or Telecom environment is strongly preferred.
Practical knowledge of supplier relationship management, contract negotiations and logistics operations.
Hands-on experience handling import and export processes, inventory and materials management.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
Highly organised, proactive and cost-conscious, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
