Grounds and General Maintenance Worker
A practical hands-on role supporting the upkeep of outdoor spaces and maintaining clean, presentable surroundings.
The position involves preparing planting areas, caring for lawns and plants, and carrying out general cleaning duties as needed.
What you’ll be doing
Prepare land for planting by digging, levelling, and breaking up soil clods to create suitable planting conditions.
Weed and water lawns, flowerbeds, flower borders, and other planted areas.
Apply mulch around herbaceous and non-herbaceous plants.
Rake and maintain lawns to keep outdoor areas in good condition.
Carry out general cleaning duties.
Perform other related tasks as required.
Minimum education
Applicants should have a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade of D Plain.
The role would suit someone who is comfortable with physical, outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining clean and well-kept surroundings.
